From Cancun we will take you to visit the impressive archaeological site of Chichen-Itza, named one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World, and the great representative of the Mayan culture. Only the selected ones, such as magicians, scientists and ball players could access to this special landscape of white stone and the “eyes” of the earth, the cenotes. Its splendid Temples, which are considered to belong to the classic and post-classic periods, never saw the Spanish colonizers because these constructions had already been abandoned by their people for unknown reasons. You will be able to see the awesome Pyramid of Kukulkan, “the plumed serpent”, the ball game court, the Observatory and more. We will then continue to the Ik-Kil cenote where you will have the opportunity to swim.

You will visit the archaeological site Uxmal, an incredible representative of the Puuc architecture, a city of the Classical period, one of the most beautiful ancient Mayan cities. Then we will go to Celestun, the amazing pink Flamingo reserve. Afterward, we will return to Merida.

We will start the day with a tour in Mérida, a beautiful colonial city, capital of the state of Yucatán. Then we will go to some unique stalactite caverns or cenotes, the “eyes of the earth”, which are a fantastic place to dive or snorkel. Later we will visit the Coba archaeological zone, immersed in the jungle. You can take a bike tour. At the end, we will return to Cancun or Riviera Maya.
