Day 1: Arrival to Mexico City

Arrival to Mexico City. Our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel.

Day 2: Mexico City Tour – Teotihuacan Pyramids – Tequila Museum

Today, explore Mexico City, one of the world’s largest and most vibrant cities. This metropolis is the political, economic, and cultural heart of Mexico, blending diverse cultures, tastes, and colors. You will visit the impressive “Zocalo,” the main square, the ancient Aztec city ruins of Tenochtitlan, and the National Palace. Admire Diego Rivera’s murals, depicting Mexico’s pre-Columbian history, colonial period, and Revolution. Later, head to Teotihuacan to marvel at its magnificent pyramids and archaeological site. Located northeast of Mexico City, Teotihuacan features the Jaguar Palace, the Temple of the Plumed Conch Shells, the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, and the Avenue of the Dead. You will also visit the Tequila Museum, where you can learn about the history of this famous drink and see over 400 tequila brands. Enjoy a tasting session and relax on the museum’s veranda overlooking Garibaldi Square, where mariachi music fills the air. Return to your hotel.

Day 3: Frida Kahlo Museum – Trotsky Museum – Taxco

Today, visit two fascinating museums: the Frida Kahlo Museum and the Trotsky Museum. Frida Kahlo, a renowned Mexican painter, is known for her self-portraits reflecting her tragic life. The Frida Kahlo house-museum showcases her art, personal items, and collections with her husband, Diego Rivera. The Trotsky Museum is dedicated to Lev Trotsky, who sought political asylum in Mexico in 1937. Despite surviving an assassination attempt by Siqueiros, he was eventually killed by Mercader. The museum features Trotsky’s preserved furniture and books. Afterward, transfer to Taxco.

Day 4: Taxco – Cacahuamilpa Grottoes – Mexico City

Taxco is renowned for its colonial architecture and silver production, earning it the title of “Silver City.” Explore the medieval streets and silver shops before heading to the Cacahuamilpa Grottoes. These massive caves are illuminated with colorful lights, creating unique formations. The grottoes, the largest “live” cave system in the world, date back millions of years and extend approximately 2 km. After the tour, transfer back to Mexico City.
