Upon arrival at Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport, your journey through the rich landscapes of Chiapas begins. From here, you will be transferred to the breathtaking Sumidero Canyon, followed by visits to Chiapa de Corzo and San Cristóbal de las Casas.
At the pier, board a boat to explore the majestic Sumidero Canyon, where towering cliffs rise dramatically up to one thousand metres above the Grijalva River. Following this experience, continue to the Pueblo Mágico of Chiapa de Corzo, a charming town known for its sixteenth century Mudéjar-style fountain and vibrant arcades that reflect its rich cultural heritage.
Your journey then continues to San Cristóbal de las Casas, where the cool mountain air and colonial charm welcome you for the evening. Overnight.

Today offers a deep cultural immersion into the traditions of the highlands. Begin with a visit to the indigenous community of San Juan Chamula, where the local church reveals a fascinating blend of Mayan spirituality and Catholic influence. Inside, the atmosphere is unlike anywhere else, filled with candlelight, rituals, and centuries-old customs that remain deeply rooted in daily life.
Continue to Zinacantán, a picturesque Tzotzil village renowned for its vibrant textiles and artisanal craftsmanship. Visit a traditional family home to discover the intricate process behind these handwoven creations, and enjoy a tasting of a local beverage in a warm and authentic setting.
Return to San Cristóbal de las Casas, where the afternoon is yours to explore at leisure. Wander through its cobblestone streets, discover local boutiques and cafés, or simply enjoy the relaxed colonial atmosphere. Overnight in San Cristóbal de las Casas.

This morning, transfer to Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport to board a scenic flight to Palenque with Aerobalam. Flights operate on Thursdays and Sundays, with private flights available daily. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes aboard a small aircraft accommodating up to nine passengers, offering a unique and intimate travel experience. Your luggage will be transported separately by road and delivered directly to your hotel.
Upon arrival, visit the Archaeological Zone of Palenque, one of the most remarkable Mayan sites in Mexico, set amidst the lush Chiapas jungle. Surrounded by dense greenery and the sounds of nature, explore its impressive structures, including the Temple of the Inscriptions and the Palace, each telling stories of an ancient civilisation at its peak.

05:30 am – An early departure takes you deep into the Lacandon Jungle, one of the most remote and untouched regions of Chiapas. Your first stop is the Archaeological Site of Bonampak, celebrated for its extraordinary murals that vividly depict ceremonial scenes and aspects of political and social life from the Mayan era.
The journey continues to Frontera Corozal, where you will board a boat and travel along the Usumacinta River, surrounded by dense jungle scenery. This river journey leads you to Yaxchilán, an ancient Mayan city hidden within the rainforest, known for its intricate stone carvings, stelae, and lintels that offer a glimpse into its powerful past.
After this immersive day of exploration, return to Palenque in the afternoon to relax and unwind. Overnight in Palenque.

Your final day begins with a visit to the stunning Agua Azul Waterfalls, a series of cascading turquoise pools formed by the Tulijá River. Surrounded by lush vegetation, this natural wonder invites you to walk along its paths, take in the scenery, and enjoy the refreshing atmosphere.
Continue to the Misol-Ha waterfall, where water plunges approximately 30 metres into a serene pool below, framed by dense tropical jungle. The setting is both dramatic and tranquil, offering a perfect conclusion to your journey through Chiapas.
At the end of the visit, you will be transferred to Villahermosa Airport for your onward flight, with convenient direct connections to Cancún.
