Transfer Flights
To enhance your journey through Chiapas, flights are available between Tuxtla Gutiérrez and Palenque with Aerobalam, offering a unique and time-efficient way to travel between regions.
Shared flights operate on Fridays and Sundays, while private flights are available on any day of the week through the Aerobalam air taxi service, subject to advance reservation. Operations are generally more flexible from Monday to Thursday for this route.
Flights are conducted on a small aircraft, typically a Cessna 208 Grand Caravan, designed for regional travel and offering an intimate and exclusive flying experience. With a capacity of approximately nine to ten passengers plus crew, the aircraft is ideal for short distances and is able to operate from smaller airports and short runways. Despite its size, it provides a smooth and relatively quiet journey, widely used for tourism and private air transfers.
The flight duration between Tuxtla Gutiérrez and Palenque is approximately 35 to 40 minutes, significantly reducing travel time while offering scenic views over the diverse landscapes of Chiapas.
Please note that on shared flights only hand luggage is permitted onboard. Larger suitcases will be transported separately by road and will be delivered directly to your hotel in Palenque upon arrival.
